Femei cu stil || Stylish women

Astazi se implinesc 85 de ani de la nasterea unei regine a stilului – Audrey Hepburn. O femeie care ma face sa ii multumesc inventatorului camerei de fotografiat, caci, de n-ar fi fost el, astazi n-am fi putut sa ne minunam in fata aparitiilor unei actrite care n-a incetat niciodata sa fie om. Fotografiile cu Audrey, care fac si acum inconjurul globului, ma fac sa ma intreb cum se poate obtine statutul de femeie cu stil.

Desigur, este usor sa fii catalogata astfel, daca materialul de „jurizat” consta exclusiv in tinutele purtate la evenimente sau in imprejurari oficiale, unde ai fi putut angaja o armata de stilisti care sa te ajute si sa te sustina. Dar este oare meritul in acest caz al femeii in sine sau al echipei care munceste in spatele sau?

O femeie care are cu adevarat stil ar trebui sa stie ca pana si felul in care arata halatul este important, pentru ca, in mijlocul zilei, sotului ei i se va face dor sa o vada in bucatarie, pregatind cafeaua de dimineata. Si-atunci i se vor derula in minte imagini cu ea in halat, dar acest halat ar putea fi respingator sau, dimpotriva, ceva extrem de flatant. Depinde numai de tine.

O femeie cu stil prefera sa renunte la cativa centimetri din toc decat sa adopte mersul unei rate buimacite. Ea stie ca trupul nu are doar doua parti sexy (bustul si posteriorul), ci multe altele – gatul, degetele, spatele, gleznele, calcaiele (da, calcaiele! daca ele sunt non-sexy atunci cand sunt uscate, de ce n-ar fi sexy atunci cand le ingrijim cum trebuie?!).

Femeia cu stil nu-l oboseste pe cel de langa ea, indiferent cine ar fi acea persoana. Daca s-a strecurat sclipici pe rochie, nu-l lasa sa scape si pe oja. Mai putin = mai mult.

Ar fi multe de adaugat despre femeia cu stil, dar ma voi rezuma la inca unul. Acestei femei nu ii este deloc teama sa indrazneasca. Pentru ca a tras o linie ferma in jurul ei, care o delimiteaza de ridicol. Si stie ca pana acolo are voie sa experimenteze si sa impleteasca bunul gust cu creativitatea.

Today we celebrate 85 years from the birth of Audrey Hepburn, a queen of style. A woman that makes me thank the inventor of the photo camera for his invention, since without it, we couldn’t have admired the wonderful looks of an actress that never ceased to be a human being. The photographies with Audrey, that are popular even today, make me wonder how can a woman acquire the status of a `stylish woman`. 

Of course, people will easily call you so if all you have to show consists of appearances at glossy events or glamorous looks in other formal circumstances – but then you could have worked with an entire team of stylists who would have constructed the outfit for you. In this case, whose merit is it? Theirs or yours?

A stylish woman knows that even the bathing gown is important. Because her husband will end up missing her in the middle of the day. And then he will think of her preparing the coffee in the morning, dressed in a bathing gown. It`s up to her what kind of bathing gown he’ll remember – it could be a disgustful one or a sexy one …

A stylish woman prefers to give up on a few centimetres of the heels, instead of looking ridiculous while wearing them. She knows that a woman has many more sexy body parts than her cleavage and bottom – neck, ankles, fingers, heels (yes, they can be very sexy when we take care of them!). 

The stylish woman does not exhaust people around her – she knows that less is more. If you have glitter on your dress, pick a simple manicure. 

I could say many things about stylish women, but I’ll mention just one more – stylish women aren’t afraid of daring. Because she drew a clear line around herself. And she knows that, until that line won’t be passed, she can keep entwining taste and creativity.
