Many people believe that those born 20, 30 or even more years ago had a totally different childhood than ours. I don’t know what to say. Yes, many have changed, but, practically, we do the same things in another way.
We didn’t have a smartphone. But we had our mothers who used to yell at us each time they saw us hanging from the monkey bars in the park. We also used to tore paper from the back of the copybook and use it to send messages underneath the desks of our classrooms. The famous `oracle` that everyone shoud fill in has been replaced with Facebook and other tons of apps.
I remember how I used to build `tents` in front of the block and my grandmother had to throw sandwiches out the window. I built tents inside the apartment as well, but in this case I used umbrellas.
I was `driving` a red Pegas and the small accidents I had with the bicycle left me with small wounds I used to cover with leaves.
Unlike today, I was more interested in my dolls’ clothes than in mine. I loved to make them clothes and brush their hair and I very much liked to draw
Everyhting was more silent than today. We didn’t shop in supermarkets and I was more than happy when I received a Turbo gum, an ice cream cone or some TEC juice … of course, all these were bought from the famous ABC-shop around the corner 🙂
